Pinnacle Systems Show Center is an interesting product. There were some initial teething errors that made it difficult for people with enormous multimedia libraries to keep things sorted. They forced users to add any video that they wanted to see into their database system, which tended to crash a lot. Upkeep was a big job. Their latest software allows you to browse a drive letter directly. If you've kept all your multimedia well-sorted on your drives, then this is the way to go. No database maintenance! For the price, it's hard to beat: Watch video, or listen to music from your PC on your TV,or listen to streaming audio.

If you have a large database of music and photos on your PC, you can access it on your TiVo with the proper software and TiVo update.
